TOP TIDBITS

  1. Governor Ron DeSantis is the only governor in the country who refused to order COVID vaccines for children. Instead of helping deliver lifesaving care, DeSantis is playing politics with the well-being of Florida families, and national and local editorial boards are condemning his shameless antics.

Read more from the DNC War Room HERE and HERE.

And HERE is a DNC ad calling him out.

  2. Today, President Biden will deliver remarks on COVID-19 vaccines for children under five and the historic progress the country has made in fighting COVID-19 with safe, effective vaccines available to virtually all Americans.

  3. Since the Biden-Harris administration began, the economy has added more than 8 million jobs — more on average per month than under any other president in modern history.

    Help uplift this HERE.

DNC War Room: Editorial Boards Slam DeSantis for Turning His Back On Florida’s Children

@DNCWarRoom: Make no mistake: MAGA Republicans’ agenda could end the Social Security and Medicare guarantees and raise costs on millions of Americans.

FROM THE CHAIR'S DESK

@harrisonjaime: Democrats are fired up about 2022!
We raised $16.1 million in May, bringing us to over $66 million raised in 2022. That’s the most the DNC has EVER raised at this point in a midterm year.

MESSAGE TO MOBILIZE

Please amplify some of our top content from DNC channels below:

Under President Biden, the economy has grown faster than it has in decades and has added over 8 million jobs, making it the strongest since the post-World War II era. @TheDemocrats (Twitter), (Facebook)

President Biden has made it clear that tackling inflation is his top economic priority. By signing the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022 into law, he’s helping to bring down prices and lower costs for American families. @TheDemocrats (Twitter), (Facebook)

Remember when 203 House Republicans voted against a bill that would fight gas price gouging? We do. @TheDemocrats (Twitter), (Facebook)

The ultra-MAGA agenda is attacking families and our freedom. 300 discriminatory anti-LGTBQ+ bills have been introduced in states. In Texas, they’re knocking on doors to investigate parents raising trans kids. These attacks are real and consequential for families. @JoeBiden (Twitter), (Facebook)

TOP TWEETS

@POTUS: Our nation's hard-fought, historic economic recovery was just the beginning of lasting change – we are moving to steady and stable growth that works for working people.

@POTUS: Fifteen states are now at their lowest unemployment rates on record, and last month, the unemployment rate broke new records in nine states.
That's huge. [CHART]

TALKING POINTS

  1. State Unemployment Near Record Lows Around the Country

  • Americans across the country are back to work at a historic level. Fifteen states are now at their lowest unemployment rates on record.

  • The drop in unemployment all around the country is a sign of enormous progress. The strong economy puts the U.S. in a better position to fight the global challenges of inflation including Putin’s price hike. It’s also a sign of our transition from an historic economic recovery to steady and stable growth that finally works for working people.

  • This news comes on the heels of new data showing that the number of Americans who are forced to rely on unemployment insurance programs remains near its lowest level in half a century, and that the economy has added more than 8 million jobs since President Biden took office – more jobs on average per month than under any other president in history.

  • This job creation is no accident – it’s a direct result of President Biden and Democrats in Congress’ economic plan to rebuild the economy from the bottom up and the middle out through the historic American Rescue Plan and a nationwide vaccination strategy.

  • There is more work to do to build an economy that works for all Americans. Tackling inflation is the top priority. But we cannot lose sight of the fact that millions of workers are now able to better provide for themselves and their families and enjoy the dignity that a good-paying job provides.
