Official 14-Day Notice: Winter 2025 DNC Meeting
Dear DNC Members, I am looking forward to seeing all of you soon for the Winter 2025 DNC Meeting from January 30 - February 1. As a reminder, our meeting is taking place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. On behalf of Chair Harrison, you are cordially invited to a reception on Wednesday, January 29 at 6:00 p.m. prior to the start of our meeting the next morning. We hope you can join us. Please note that there has been a slight adjustment to the Council meetings. As always, this is subject to change, and we will notify you if and when it does. We want you to be aware that there will be two General Sessions:
The agendas for the General Sessions will be sent in subsequent notices. Additional details regarding the Party Officer Candidate Forum on January 30 are forthcoming. Caucus and Council Meeting Agendas You can find the agendas for the Constituency Caucus meetings here, the Council meetings here, and the Regional Caucus meetings here. RSVP If you haven't already done so, we kindly ask that you let us know if you will be attending the meeting so that we can better plan for your arrival and get all the necessary materials for you. You can let us know here. We ask that you fill out the form by Friday, January 24. If you have any staff or guests attending the meeting, they should complete this form as well. Proxy For those members unable to attend the upcoming Winter Meeting, you can fill out a proxy form for the General Session and Officer Elections here. You can fill out a proxy form for Constituency Caucus and Council meetings here. You can fill out a proxy form for the Standing Committee meetings here. Please note that a separate proxy is required for each individual meeting that takes place. As proposed in the 2025 DNC Officer Elections Rules of Procedures, proxies for the Party Officer elections must be submitted to the Secretary’s Office 24 hours prior to the stated time of the meeting at which the vote in which the proxy will be voting will occur. DNC Members will also be able to submit proxies on site during the meeting; however, no proxy will be accepted by the Secretary while a vote is being conducted. We’ll provide additional information as we get closer to the meeting. Party Business At the Winter DNC Meeting, the membership will conduct necessary party business that will include the Committee reports, the approval of the Rules and Procedure for the election of officers, and the election of the DNC Party Officers. You can find a copy of the proposed Rules of Procedure that was adopted and recommended by the Rules & Bylaws Committee here. Please note that there will be no elections for Caucus or Council leadership at the upcoming Winter meeting. Caucus and Council voting will occur at our next full DNC Meeting. You’ll find the resolutions that were properly submitted to my Office by the deadline and that will be considered by the Resolutions Committee on Thursday, January 30 here. If you would like to add your name to any resolutions as a co-sponsor, please fill out this form here. To be listed as a co-sponsor to a resolution in the 7-day mailing, please complete this form by Thursday, January 23 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
