Defend Choice Week of Action: Immediately after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the DNC, DSCC, and DCCC launched defendchoice.org to share how you can get involved in your community to protect abortion rights by helping elect Democrats in 2022. In this action center, we share resources and places to direct your attention to help take action and speak out. To fight back, we will be hosting a Defend Choice Week of Action July 12 - 19th. Join DNC leadership and other special guests for a kickoff event to talk through what happens to abortion access in light of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization SCOTUS decision. This event will serve as the kickoff for our Week of Action, which we’ll highlight how to get involved with on the call. This fight isn’t over and we need all hands on deck. As a participant held a brightly colored sign that read “AAPI Women 4 Abortion Rights,” advocates demanded an end to the wave of violence targeting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
