To affect those around us, we have to interact with those around us. The last election polarized the country, friendships have ended, and families are no longer speaking. Our goal for the Project Blue is first and foremost–hopefully–to give you tools to rebuild relationships and help our country become one again.
Below you will find the three steps for moving forward: active listening, socializing with family and neighbors and, if possible, to discuss national policy without arguing.
Active listening is a form of communication used in conflict resolution and counseling. An active listener’s focus is on fully understanding and remembering what is said, communicating to the speaker that his or her words have been heard and are being considered.
