Resolutions Proposing Amendments to the DPCA Charter at the Global Meeting – May 2017

Charter Amendments for Review

This space contains the DPCA Charter amendments proposed for adoption by at the May 2017 Global Meeting in Washington DC.

The DPCA Charter States:

Article Ten: Amendments

Section 10.1 (Amendments)

This Charter may be amended by the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3rds) of the votes cast under the procedure provided for in Sections 3.6 and 3.7, at a regularly constituted meeting of the DPCA. Such qualified majority must include votes from at least one-third (1/3rd) of all Country Committees.

Notwithstanding any other provision in this Charter, casting votes to amend the Charter by letter or electronic means shall not be permitted unless there has been discussion of the amendment at the immediately preceding meeting.

The text of any proposed amendment shall be circulated with the notice of any meeting where said amendment shall be discussed or voted upon.
