General Preparation
Set up your ‘work station’ in advance of the meeting
notepad/pens or a digital document for notes
bookmark webpages for ease of accessibility
Prepare drinks, snacks, and/or meals in advance
Arrange care of children and pets in advance if needed
Set alarms or timers if needed
Collaboration Preparation
Contact the person you wish to hold your proxy and relay voting wishes if applicable
Arrange an attendance schedule between yourself and CC/DPCA peers to ensure your group is represented at all times
Arrange ‘back-channel communication’ method between yourself and peer CC leaders and/or DPCA voters as desired (and checking to ensure those involved are okay with joining that method)
Technical Preparation
Have more than one device available (e.g. laptop and smartphone)
Be prepared to use one device as a backup in case their primary device fails or malfunctions at a critical time
Install the WebEx application and test using it on ALL devices in advance
Have primary, as well as phone or other backup devices charged and ready to use
Assess application notifications (beneficial or bothersome) and adjust accordingly

U.S. English QWERTY keyboard layout:
Windows computer:
Hold down Shift and press the 3 key (on the number row, not the numeric keypad) to make the pound sign (#)
Open-bracket and close-bracket are available as their own keys
Mac computer:
Hold down Shift and press the 3 key (on the number row) to make the pound sign (#)
Open-bracket and close-bracket are available as their own keys
iPad on-screen keyboard:
Pound sign (#) is accessible under the “123” keys on the S key
Open-bracket and close-bracket are accessible under the “123” and then “#+=” keys in the middle row where you’d find the H and J keys
U.K. English QWERTY keyboard layout:
Windows computer:
Ensure that your keyboard is set to the U.K. English layout. You can check and change the keyboard layout by clicking on the language icon in the taskbar and selecting the "ENG UK" or "ENG English (United Kingdom)" option.
Once you have confirmed the keyboard layout, press the Shift key and the number 3 key simultaneously. This will produce the pound sign symbol (#) on your screen.
Alternatively, if the above method doesn't work, you can try the following:
Press the Ctrl key, Shift key, and the number 3 key simultaneously. This key combination should also generate the pound key symbol (#) on your screen.
Mac computer:
Press and hold the Shift key.
Press the number 3 key.
iPad on-screen keyboard:

French (AZERTY) keyboard layout:

Press and hold the Option key (also known as Alt) located on the left side of your keyboard.
While holding the Option key, press the number 3 key (located on the top row of your keyboard).
Release both keys. The hashtag symbol (#) should appear on your screen.

Make sure your keyboard layout is set to "Latin American" or "Spanish (Latin America)." You can check this by clicking on the language indicator in the system tray and selecting the correct keyboard layout.
Press and hold the right Alt key (AltGr) on your keyboard.
While holding the AltGr key, press the number key 3 located above the letter "E." This key has the number sign (#) and the dollar sign ($) symbol on it.
Release both keys (AltGr and the number key 3) simultaneously.
Mac computer:

Open and close brackets are shifted versions of the keys to the right of the “Ñ” key
iPad on-screen keyboard:

Spain Spanish keyboard layout:
Windows computer:
Ensure that you have the correct keyboard layout selected on your Windows system. In this case, it should be "Spain Spanish."
Open the program or document where you want to type the hashtag symbol.
Locate the key on your keyboard that is labeled with the number sign or hash symbol (#). On a Spain Spanish keyboard layout, it is typically found on the same key as the number 3, located above the letter E.
Press the Shift key on your keyboard and simultaneously press the number sign key (#). This combination will produce the hashtag symbol (#) on your screen.
Mac computer:

Open and close brackets are option plus the two keys to the right of the “P”
