How to Schedule A Caucus Event

3 Kinds of Events

1. DA Global Events/Speakers
2. Global Caucus Webinars
3. Global Caucus Events/Meetings

Platforms available:

1. Global Zoom Account: DA Global Events/Speakers
2. DA Webex: Global Caucus Webinars, meetings or events
3. Caucus Zoom Account: Events and meetings

How to schedule a meeting, event or webinar:

1. Do you think this should be a Global Event?
   • Schedule it on Webex ASAP (there is a 1 week lead time for this, see below)
   • Email events@democratsabroad.org (Aaron and Karen)  and ask about the possibility of presenting it at the global level
     (this is good until August 2021)
   • If it becomes a Global level Webinar, cancel the webex session.
     
     
2. Global Caucus level Webex Webinars (requires 1 week lead time):
   1. Schedule the Webinar on the wiki at https://wiki.democratsabroad.org/display/WebEx
   2. Put “Webinar: Global xxx Caucus – Webinar Title”
      (i.e., “Webinar: Global AAPI Caucus – A chat with Amy Tan”)
   3. Email the Webex Team: webex@democratsabroad.org & cc me: karen@democratsabroad.org
      Make sure you ask them to set it up as a webinar
      
      
3. Global Caucus level Zoom Webinars (requires 1 week lead time and is dependent on Global approval):
   1. Check the /wiki/spaces/CommsResource/pages/931760630 for availability
   2. Email events@democratsabroad.org (Aaron and Karen) with details. 
4. Global Caucus Zoom Account:
   1. Please go to https://doodle.com/mm/1609924727/daglobalcaucuses
   2. Book the time you want.
   3. You will get the Zoom link within 24 hours.
