DA-Hungary Call for Nominations – Reminder

This is a reminder that the Annual General Meeting and Elections of Democrats Abroad Hungary will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, 7:00 p.m., at the Sim Shalom Synagogue, Raday utca 9, bell code #12 (near Kalvin-ter Metro stop entrance next door to a small fruit and vegetable shop).

All Executive Committee positions are up for election. These positions are:

Chair

Vice Chair

Secretary

Treasurer

Counsel

and 2 Members-at-Large

All registered members of DA-HU are eligible for office. If you are interested in running for office, please send us your contact information, a campaign statement of any length outlining your interest, background and qualifications together with a photo if you so wish. Please note, only your name, photo and campaign statement will be posted on the DA-HU website. You may submit your candidacy for any one of the vacant positions on the Executive Committee or as many positions as you wish.

If you would like to nominate someone for office please send the name and contact information of your nomination to nec2015@demsabroad.hu.

DEADLINE to submit your nominations to the Nominations and Elections Committee is MARCH 2, 2015 WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT NOMINATIONS AFTER MARCH 2, 2015.

BALLOTS will be available by March 5, 2015.

Come, get involved, contribute to our local committee work and help us plan our member outreach efforts in the next 2 years.
