Canada's Capital Region
Welcome to the Canada's Capital Region wiki!
The Canada’s Capital Region chapter of Democrats Abroad Canada is the official home for U.S. Democrats living in eastern Ontario and southwestern Quebec. Our membership territory includes the communities of Ottawa, Gatineau, Chelsea, Wakefield, Petawawa, Stittsville, Lanark, Kingston, Chelsea, Bath, Kemptville, Almonte, Carleton Place, Cumberland, Cornwall, Morrisburg, and more.
We are working together to ensure that all eligible U.S. voters get their ballots to vote in every election. That includes Canadians who were born in the U.S. and those born in Canada to American parents, who therefore have the right to vote.
The chapter is also a peer-group resource for U.S. citizens looking for help with taxes and passports, and even social gatherings. Volunteers are always needed to help grow our base, to reach out to find new friends, and to help get out the vote.
Please contact us if you have questions or would like to help with Democrats Abroad’s central missions: to help American citizens register to vote, and then to ensure they do!
