Our DNC Constituency Caucuses and Councils are an integral part of our Party and works to engage many key communities. These caucuses and councils showcase our party's diversity and bring DNC members from various backgrounds together to collaborate and plan for elections and other party affairs.

 To be a member of a DNC Caucus, one must share the inherent and immutable trait that defines that Caucus. Our existing constituency caucuses of the DNC are:

  • AAPI
  • Black
  • Disability
  • Hispanic
  • LGBT
  • Native American
  • Women’s
  • Youth

Our existing constituency councils of the DNC are:

  • Ethnic
  • Environmental and Climate Crisis
  • Labor
  • Regional (Eastern, Midwestern, Southern, Western)
  • Rural
  • Seniors
  • Small Business
  • Vets Veterans & Military Families

Caucuses are composed of DNC members, who share the inherent or immutable traits which define the Caucus. They are welcome to attend any portions of our meetings that are open to the public. In terms of being voting members that depends on the bylaws of each council.
