Your local election office will receive and process your request.

Once you receive your ballot, please vote and send it back right away. This will give you enough time to confirm your ballot is received and counted.

  • Tell your friends and family - If you know a U.S. citizen living abroad, please ask them to send in their form to register to vote at www.votefromabroad.org. Make sure you remind your friends and family in the U.S. to vote too.

The NY State Elections are on Tuesday, November 4, and ballots are on their way! All overseas voters who select “intend to return” may vote in New York state and local elections, as well as military voters and their families. 

Democrats Abroad endorses Zohran Mamdani for Mayor of New York City, Dorcey Applyrs for Mayor of Albany, and Sean Ryan for Mayor of Buffalo. 

Voting in local elections is vital for our democracy! You stop Trump and his Republican enablers by standing up in our states and communities. We encourage you to vote Democrat straight down the ballot. 

👉 Request your ballot NOW using the form at VoteFromAbroad.org. You have until October 28 to send in your form.

👉 Not registered to vote yet?  You have until October 25. Use VoteFromAbroad.org to submit the registration.

👉Be sure to request your ballot be sent to you by email, and don’t forget to check your spam folder. 

Don’t delay – you MUST return your voted ballot by postal mail. Your ballot must be postmarked by November 4 AND received in New York by November 17.

The ME State Elections are on Tuesday, November 4, and ballots are on their way! All registered overseas voters in Maine are eligible to vote in state elections.

Democrats Abroad encourages all Maine voters to vote NO on Ballot Question 1, the Voter Suppression Referendum. This measure would enact one of the most restrictive voter ID laws in the U.S. in order to attack voter rights and absentee voting. Your vote is essential to winning this fight and keeping elections fair!
