Creating a Phonebanking Training Event

When you schedule a phonebanking training, please create an event on the DA website (you may need an admin in your country organization to do this for you). Then send the event link to: callhub-helpdesk@democratsabroad.org.

We’ll post it on https://democratsabroad.org/phonebanking_training so other members can see it and attend.

Signup Process

  1. Take a training: RSVP on https://www.democratsabroad.org/phonebanking_training or watch the training video on your own.

  2. Use the links in the training to sign up for a calling account and access the quiz.

  3. Sign up for a calling account; we’ll then assign you to our practice campaigns.

  4. Make some practice calls to DA volunteers (optional).

  5. Take the quiz; when you pass the quiz, we’ll assign you to current campaigns.

  6. Call DA members and help Democrats win elections!

Phonebanking Stats

  • In 2024 we made 340,000 calls. In 2020 we made 600,000 calls.

  • Our answer rate for all global calls was 17%. Our answer rate for CC local calls was 25%.

  • Of the people we spoke to, 46% used VFA in 2024 (vs. 36% of all DA members) and 46% of those we spoke to said they voted.
