Hello DNC Member,

As many of you know, on Saturday May 14, Planned Parenthood Action Fund and Planned Parenthood Federation of America are partnering with Women’s March, UltraViolet, MoveOn and other allies to hold a “Bans Off Our Bodies” Day of Action, with anchor mobilizations in New York, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Austin and in cities across the country. Ahead of May 14, the DNC will also be hosting a Reproductive Rights Grassroots Briefing at 7pm ET to help promote the day of action. Join leadership from the DNC, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, EMILY's List, and NARAL Pro-Choice America, along with other special guests, for an exclusive update on the fight for reproductive rights, and how our work to elect Democrats this year is a critical part of that fight. Attendance & Speaking Opportunities
You should feel free to attend a local event in whichever capacity you choose. 

These events are hosted, in part, by 501(c)(3) organizations, which may not intervene in elections. As a result, only elected officials may appear in their official capacity, and not as representatives of any candidate, committee, party or electoral campaign. 
 
Participating elected officials will be asked not to speak about their candidacy for public office, or that of any other individual, or about the subjects of elections or voting.

  • If you are an elected official at the state or local level and are interested in participating a local rally in your state/region, please contact Aanchal Sahay at aanchal.sahay@ppfa.org, who can connect you to the appropriate event organizers.
